Instrument Repair Service

Hannibal Music Academy provides an instrument repair service for string and band instruments. We have aligned with Halpin Music on a bi-weekly drop/pick-up service. For more information, please contact us below.

Guitars- Restring Labor $25 plus the cost of the strings

Basic set up $50 (includes restring but also neck/bridge adjustments, etc) plus price of any strings/parts

anything more extensive will require an estimate

Band- minimum repair labor for all band & orchestral is $25

Basic PC Brass (playing condition- without internal flush) is $44 Trumpet/$52 Trombone

Standard PC (Includes internal flush) - is $72 Trumpet/$83 Trombone

Standard PC- Flute $53 ($65 open-holed models)- pad prices extra- $5 per pad flute

Complete repads (these prices include pads)- Flute $245 (open holed- models $300)

Clarinet- Basic PC $44 (no pads replaced), Standard PC (pads priced at $5 each extra) $64

Total Repad (includes pads) is $242

Alto Sax- Basic PC $55 (no pads replaced), Standard PC is $75 (pads priced at $8 each extra)

Total Repad (includes pads) is $540

Tenor and Bari Sax prices are incrementally higher- just ask me if the question arises

Orchestra-

minimum charge is $22 (resetting bridge or soundpost)

Violin restring, Tune and Polish is $25 plus price of strings

Bow rehairs start at about $60 (for violin, cello and string bass are higher)

Other more involved repairs will go to our outside string guy- will get estimate from him upon request.

Electronics (like keyboards or amps) will require an estimate and usually require a $50 bench fee (to open up the unit for estimate).
